Hello everyone.

I just purchased an 81 Prelude last week. I’ll be posting images soon, but for now I just have a quick question.

My fuel pump whines after driving it a bit. After spending some time on The Google, I discover I should probably replace it. My trusty repair manual as well as hunting for parts online show mostly electric fuel pumps. The pump on my Prelude looks to be a non-electric, in-line pump.

I just want to make sure I’m not missing something here, as I’m not very handy with a wrench. Yet.

In-line non-electric is ok, right?

... while we’re on the subject, have you had a good experience with a specific brand/model?

Thanks much!
