Hi, just found the website today and thought I would add my car to some of the great cars already listed.
I see a fellow Brit has a very similar car to my own, but you can never have to much of a good thing! i have owned the car for about 18 months, it's a 1982 Executive Hondamatic in Canyon Gold (YR50M) with Connolly leather and power steering, it's done about 59,000 miles and is just beginning to need a little bit of body work, it will becoming of the road for the winter very soon, away from all that nasty salt on the road, which will give me a chance to tackle the bodywork. Thanks for looking and keep up the good work!

Hello Welcome here !

Your car looks very clean
The golden color that we did not have in France, might give the gentlemen attitude on the road, no ?
Your Connolly leather seat is a great option ! I Guess with only 59000miles, they are still ok.
Do not forget to put natural oil for keeping them soft.
Your car seems to have all options : electric antenna, alloy rims, fog light, rear mud flaps etc... Wahou !
Oh no ! Exception : no stereo option on your embeded radio :? How come ? :P
And your wheel center caps, are they JDM ones ? 8-)

Welcome here again, and have a mild winter season ;)

Hi, thanks for the welcome,

I have oiled the seats a couple of times since getting the car but they could do with a bit more, as for the other items you mentioned I'm afraid I can't give much information about them, the wheel caps where on the car when I got it an I'm not sure what you mean about the stereo, sorry :?

So glad you found us, welcome to G1preludes! :D

Wow, fantastic looking SN there! Wish we would've gotten the executive models here in the US, but of course we always have to have the crappy options. lol! Loving the YR50M, such a beautiful color. Hoping the body isn't too bad, you should check out my JDM SN. I'm attempting to tackle this winter and I'm not sure If I have the strength to venture into all that rust.

And I have to say I keep staring at your leather seats. Your one of the first to take up close pictures of the Connolly leather option. There's another member on this board who has an executive model as well but can't remember off the top of my head.

Here are a few more pictures, I really don't have much information about the Executive model which had the leather as standard, my car is an 82 model and I have a UK brochure from that time and it mentions the Executive but gives no further info.
Everyone that I have ever seen has always been gold with beige leather so I don't know if that was the only combination available in the UK.
The last picture is from a 1979 Japanese brochure showing the same leather design but in a different colour.

Just kidding :D
because you have all the necessary underneath the panel board and the stereo option is just something that nobody care about unless there is nothing else then this embeded radio.
The stereo option was offered with a red led and another button with exactly the same front face.

For the weel center caps, I have them all. But I have never seen yours. I am just curious to see them with a zoom.

Ahhh! I see what you mean now, I didn't know about that, thought they were all the same, when I got it the radio had been disconnected anyway, so had to get a stereo fitted. as for the wheel caps I'll try and get some better pictures for you.

Hi Prelude&co, here is a close up of the wheel caps, I think they are just standard.

Looks like you have the newer "H" logo on the center caps which is odd. Most, or almost all of the preludes alloy rims came with the older, more spread out "H" logo. Weird.

Thank you for the close up photo of the wheel center cap. Finally it is a JDM one.

I confirm there are two different wheel center caps for those SN alloy rims. The other one are like the ones on my cabrio.

I can see the difference now, they might not be original, they were on the car when I got it.
